Mokujin – One Two EP

One Two // Aint No Way // Soul Searching

L2S108

Berlin based UK Producer Mokujin returns to L2S with more of his deep and dark sound. Fusing the classic with the new is what Mokujin is all about, using valve mastering and sub that is perfect for the warehouse. This release has a more “danceable” vibe to his first for L2S, but is no less heavy! “One Two” starts the EP, with support from Whistla this is a 4×4 roller that will take any House and Garage set and make it wonderous, with sampled MC vocals and insistent stabs. “Aint’ No Way” follows taking things in a deadly 2 step direction with morphing vocals, grizzly bass and tough sharp beats. “Soul Searching” finishes the release with some female vocals, syncopated Future Garage beats and a simply insane bassline.

Mokujin – Confessions EP

Confessions // I Can’t Take It // Oh Baby // What The?

L2S096

UK producer Mokujin (now residing in Berlin) has been building tracks since 1992 and uses the framework of UK Garage to create his unique “Phantom Rave” sound. With previous releases on Blaq Records, Endless Plains Records, Future Grooves, Renetic Recordings and Seta Label you can rest assured that each track is a stand out stunner! With heaps of global support and regular plays on Sub.FM you may have even heard some of the tracks before. “Confessions” starts the ball rolling with a deep meets dancefloor 2-step track that has bass to make the ground shake! “I Can’t Take It” goes even deeper with lush pads and a slinky beat oozing sensuality. “Oh Baby” switches things up with a 4 to the floor rhythm and bass fitting for a warehouse party. “What The?” seals the deal on a stellar EP with it’s insistent bassline and washy pads.
