“Mystic” starts proceedings with a blissed out, bass drenched, rolling 2 step track perfect for the summer. Next, joining DYP on production duties is Rekab on “Call To Arms”, an altogether tougher affair with megaphone samples, pounding bass, hard percussive melodies and looped vocals, this is one for all the serious Bass Fiends! For the 3rd track on the ep DYP has gone into full on hands in the air uplifting 4 x 4 territory and has crafted a track that you are sure to hear all summer long, “Prayin” loops a gorgeous vocal with uplifting keys, crisp drums and perfect sub bass. To round of the release DYP has drafted in Whistla to remix “Every Day” to devastating effect, dropping the track’s original vibe and taking an entirely new approach, utilizing chopped and skewed breakbeats, smooth chilled pads, deep sub bass and reworked vocals.

First is title track “Knosis” (which Whistla says is deliberately spelt wrong!). Chopped and skewed vocals lead the track, driven by a classic garage rhythm and simply intense (and huge) bassline! Second is “Coconut Udder” a firm fan favourite with its Japanese samples and “coconut udder” sample, sitting over a bed of crisp 2 step beats and bouncing bassline!

First up is title track “Skeleton Key” utilizing panning techniques to excellent effect, rolling bongos, lush pads and melodies creating a hugely atmospheric opener. “Got Me Thinking” follows with intricate 2 step beats and bass, with a simply out of this world lead that twists, turns and bends throughout! Next we have the Unknown remix of “Skeleton Key”, taking the original and giving it a year 3000 grime meets garage vibe, Unknown transforms the track into a bass fuelled space trip for the 3am crowd! Finally is the HGLDT remix of “Got Me Thinking”, slowing things down for the final track on the E.P, HGLDT goes all percussive, with an insistent pulsing bassline that just wont stop, deep pads and techy arrangement rounding the E.P off perfectly.

Title track “Stories From The White Isle” starts the proceedings with deep rolling bass and a laid back rolling 2 step rhythm, with spacey beeps creating a dense atmosphere and ominous tone. Next is DJ favourite “Downer” already receiving support from the likes of Whistla and Submerse this is a heavy dancefloor destroyer with M2J’s laid back yet tough drums and a bassline that will literally blow up lesser soundsystems! “Eden” follows with a more breakbeat style beat and ravey atmospheric melodies accompanied by a bassline that twists and turns at every opportunity, add to that a sick-as-you-like half step breakdown and this is sure to be a crowd favourite. Finally is “Island Mentality”, going deep and dark M2J drops a sample filled track with a skewed rhythm and down low bassline that perfectly rounds off the ep.
