Montpelier // Home // Montpelier (Kdns Remix)

L2S056

Ollie Macfarlane joins the L2S fold! Gaining a strong underground following Ollie Macfarlane is a rising star in the Future Garage world and this E.P showcases the unique sound he has, fusing garage perfectly with traditional trance elements.
First up (and title track) “Montpelier” has been getting huge support from Whistla and has the perfect fusion of crisp beats and trance melodies, along with a driving dancefloor bassline and beautifully clipped vocals, with a mid-tune switch up to make the dancefloor go wild! “Home” is another tune you simply need to hear to believe, emotive is an over used term these days but for this track it is 100% perfect. Melodies to make tingles run up and down your spine with a smooth and slinky 2 step beat keeping your feet moving. Finally is the Kdns remix of Montpelier, slowing things down Kdns has totally reinvented the title track giving it an almost Aphex Twin meets Groove Chronicles vibe!
